Si è tenuto al Mattei giovedì 3 Ottobre 2019 l’incontro di progetto nell’ambito dell’ERASMUS KA201- MATHSPEAK: si tratta di un progetto tra scuole e aziende che operano nel settore della implementazione didattica per lo scambio di buone pratiche a livello Europeo.
Erano presenti delegazioni di docenti provenienti dalla Bulgaria, dalla Grecia e dalla Romania, oltre alla delegazione Britannica formata da Chris Reid (coordinatore del progetto), Tony Grice (ideatore delle Unità Didattiche basate su fumetti esplicativi) e Ginny Critcher (responsabile dell’azienda Cherryleaf ltd.). Per le aziende che svilupperanno prodotti e sito web, dalla Polonia sono intervenuti i rappresentanti di Danmar Computers e Viva Femina Foundation.
Si è trattato di un giorno di lavoro piuttosto laborioso, ma ricco di spunti per la possibilità che si è avuta di confrontare le idee sullo stato dei lavori relativi allo step denominato IO1 Translating and Testing of Effectiveness riguardante la traduzione nelle varie lingue madri (Italiano, Rumeno, Polacco, Greco e Bulgaro) dall’Inglese di 10 Unità Didattiche inerenti le aree Matematico/Scientifiche, delle quali 5 sono già state tradotte: Numeri, Aritmetica, Algebra, Probabilità e Statistica; seguiranno Grafici, Prove, Fisica, Chimica, Finanza. Lo scopo è aiutare studenti non di lingua italiana (nel nostro caso) ad apprendere nozioni di base tramite un approccio più coinvolgente come può essere l’uso dei fumetti.
Nella fase finale dell’incontro il rappresentante della Danmar Computers ha presentato ai partner la versione non ancora definitiva del sito ufficiale del progetto
Prossima mobilità a Febbraio 2020 in Grecia.
The 2nd Project Meeting of ERASMUS KA201-MATHSPEAK was held at Istituto Superiore “E. Mattei” last October 3rd: it is a European-funded project focussed on the exchange of good practices among schools and companies working in the educational sector.
The meeting was presided by the coordinator of the project – Mr Chris Reid, together with his associate – Ms Ginny Critcher (Cherryleaf Ltd – Great Britain): they could count on the presence of Mr Tony Grice and his collaborator - Ms Suffian (the British developers of the Maths Units), on 10 representatives from the 3 partner schools (Bulgaria, Greece and Romania) and on 3 Polish delegates from Viva Femina Foundation and from Danmar Computers.
The working day had a full agenda and was rich in causes for reflection: it was a good oppportunity for exchanging views and confronting ideas about the development of IO1 - Translating and Testing of Effectiveness – as regards the first 5 Units – Numbers, Arithmetics, Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Graphs - already translated in 5 national languages (Italian, Greek, Romanian, Polish and Bulgarian). After that, phase IO3 – Creation of pedagogical and technical manuals - was sketched.
Finally, Lukasz Klapa – from Danmar Computers – introduced the participants to the first version of what will be developed as the official website of the project.
The partners of Mathspeak Project will meet again in Greece next February 2020
